A Shaman’s Song

© Barbara Snow 2009

I am your prayer.

I am your heart’s longing stepping from the shadows and

showing itself in focused action.

You call me when your soul is ready to take

the next step,

When you tire of the maze, the dead

ends and turn arounds that are themselves

part of your process.

You call me to be sacred arms embracing

your emergence, to hold around you the fertile

void in which to shift

and to hold open the doors to where you

want to go.

When you are ready to heal…

when you see from

the heightened elevation of your Holiest Self,

you know I will hold the space around you

sacred

while your New Self

finds its shape and learns the

sound of its authentic voice.

You begin healing

the moment you call.

Leave behind all that hinders.

Welcome. Now hold on

for The Wild Ride of

Becoming

There is no magic formula for growing. Practices like meditation, artistic practice, healthy lifestyle choices, gathering in sacred circle, and opening our hearts tend to produce predictable, powerful results.

The Pachakati Mesa

In Quechua, the language of the Inkas, Pachakuti means world reversal or transformation, like the Chinese character that represents both crisis and opportunity. A Mesa is a personal altar that performs multiple functions. As a mirror for the soul…

Hospice – Creating a Healing Journey Home
